Membership

The demographic of the LHPC membership covers the breadth of the community, and the membership is inclusive of all genders, ethnicities, ages, and abilities. Members range in age from five years to seventy years of age.

Pony club is not just for kids anymore! LHPC have a strong program for both juniors and adult riders.

Our junior members meet regularly for rally’s which focus on training and education about horse riding, care and welfare. Our juniors are encouraged to work through the Pony Club workbook manuals and seek their certificates for each level of the Syllabus of Instruction under qualified coaches.

Our adult riders meet monthly almost year-round for clinics and events which cover a range of different disciplines and activities.

Throughout the year both junior and adult members are invited to participate in LHPC and combined competitions and events with other clubs. There are also annual camps where everyone can get away and make memories with their horses.

LHPC members are covered by Personal Accident and Public Liability Insurance Cover and have free access to our fantastic grounds and facilities year-round for personal use. 

LHPC is a registered activity provider with the Northern Territory Governments sports voucher scheme, and the younger membership capitalise on this incentive.
